STATESBORO, Ga. - The King College cycling team placed two women inside the Top-6 Sunday at the Georgia Southern University road race.
Ellie Ferguson (Knoxville, Tenn.) rode to second place and she was followed by Caroline Gentry (Bristol, Tenn.) in sixth. Ferguson was eighth in Saturday's criterium while Gentry finished 10th. The women's race covered 24 miles
T.J. Killelea (Chattanooga, Tenn.) posted a third-place ride in the men's "B" road race with teammate Brent Baker (Kingsport, Tenn.) seventh. The "B" riders had to ride 45 miles.
Casey Stallard (Bristol, Va.) followed up Saturday's "C" criterium win with a sixth-place finish in the same division's road race.
King will travel to Florida State for a weekend of racing on Feb. 26-27.
