King rides to second in SECCC standings

BRISTOL, Tenn. - King College has the No. 2 spot in the Southeastern Collegiate Cycling Conference Division II team cyclocross standings after the opening two weekends.

King has accumulated39 points, three better than Cumberland (Tenn.) University. Mars Hill (N.C.) College has the lead with 120 points. The Tornado squad has more than any team in the SECCC Division I standings as Clemson (S.C.) University sets atop the standings with 36 points.

In individual standings, King's Brent Baker (Kingsport, Tenn.) owns 75 points to come in 10th. He trails Chris Dale, from Lees-McRae (N.C.) College, by five points.  Casey Stallard (Bristol, Va.) has 12th with 57 points. Reid Yoder (Hoagland, Ind.) rounded out the Top-15.

After an off weekend coming up, King will race at Mars Hill on Nov. 13.
