BRISTOL, Tenn. - King College had road race and criterium winners in the final tune up before the Southeastern Collegiate Cycling Conference Championship on the local roads over the weekend.
Ellie Ferguson (Knoxville, Tenn.) took the women's "B" road race win Saturday that covered a 22-mile loop. She then finished second in Sunday's criterium.
Casey Stallard (Bristol, Va.) took the top spot in the "C" criterium Sunday morning. Teammate Reid Yoder (Hoagland, Ind.) followed in fifth in the same crit after his third-place ride in the road race.
Brad Hughes (Gray, Tenn.) was a runner up in the "C" road race and T.J. Killelea (Chattanooga, Tenn.) came home sixth.
King and the rest of the SECCC teams will travel to Mercer (Ga.) for the conference championship races Saturday and Sunday.
