Tornado remains in NCCAA Top-10

GREENVILLE, S.C. - King College moved to No. 10 in this week's NCCAA Men's Basketball Division I Burbridge Rating, released by the national office.

The Tornado won the only game of the week, but the Burbridge went down from 6.864 to 6.826 which moved the team from No. 9 to No. 10. King had the No. 9 spot the previous two weeks after moving up from No. 10.

The Top-5 teams held place led by Indiana Wesleyan University with a Burbridge of 7.962. Dallas Baptist (Texas) University, Campbellsville (Ky.) University and Emmanuel (Ga.) College followed from No. 2 to No. 4, respectively. Palm Beach Atlantic (Fla.) University rounded out the Top-5.

The Mid-East Region was led by King and Campbellsville in the Top-10. Next from the region was No. 16 Victory (Tenn.) University, up one spot. Bluefield (Va.) College moved up two spots to No. 20 with Tennessee Temple University at No. 22.

The rating is based on wins and losses, opponents' winning percentage, location of game and opponents' national affiliation.

King welcomes Life (Ga.) University to Bristol for a 7 p.m. contest Thursday. Life comes into the game ranked No. 28 in the NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Coaches' Poll announced on Monday.
