GREENVILLE, S.C. - King College maintained the No. 9 spot in the newest NCCAA Men's Basketball Division I Burbridge Rating, released by the national office.
King's Burbridge was down slightly to 6.864, just behind Mid-America Christian University with a 6.9 rating. This was the third time in the last four reports that King was No. 9. Two weeks ago the Tornado was No. 10.
Indiana Wesleyan University, Dallas Baptist (Texas) University and Campbellsville (Ky.) University were ranked from No. 1 to No. 3, respectively, once again. Emmanuel (Ga.) College moved back to No. 4 while Palm Beach Atlantic (Fla.) University fell to No. 5.
Once again the Mid-East Region had King and Campbellsville in the Top-10. The next team from the region on the report was No. 17 Victory (Tenn.) University. Bluefield (Va.) College and Tennessee Temple University had the No. 20 and No. 21 spots, respectively.
The rating is based on wins and losses, opponents' winning percentage, location of game and opponents' national affiliation.
King improved to 11-12 with a 100-46 win Tuesday at Hiwassee (Tenn.) College. Next for the Tornado squad will be a home contest with Life (Ga.) University Tuesday at 7 p.m.
