King earns academic honor from ITA
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) recently announced their All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes for the 2012-13 season. For the second consecutive season, the King University men’s tennis team earned this award while five members earned Scholar-Athlete status.

King's season ends with loss to Limestone
SUMTER, S.C. – The seventh seeded King University men’s tennis team took on second seed Limestone College in the first round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament on Saturday. Limestone came out and took control of the match early, en route to the 5-0 win.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – With the end of the season comes post season awards, and the King University men’s tennis team had one student-athlete honored by Conference Carolinas. Rodrigo Avila was named first team All-Conference Carolinas on Thursday when the league announced the award winners.

GREENVILLE, Tenn. – The King University men’s tennis team wrapped up their regular season with a non-conference duel match at Tusculum College on Tuesday afternoon. The Pioneers came away with a 9-0 victory.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – In their final home duel match of the season, the King University men’s tennis team evened their conference record at 5-5. The Tornado defeated Belmont Abbey College 7-2 in the Conference Carolinas regular season finale.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Playing to earn a spot in the Conference Carolinas tournament, the King University men’s tennis team hosted Queens University. However, the Royals defeated the Tornado 6-3.

ASHEVILLE, Tenn. – In a tough non-conference duel match, the King University men’s tennis team traveled to UNC Asheville. The Tornado fell to the Bulldogs 7-0.

King sneaks past Pfeiffer
MISENHEIMER, N.C. - After dropping their last match, the King University men's tennis team registered a hard fought road win on Monday. The Tornado topped Pfeiffer University 5-4 behind four wins in singles play.

BRISTOL, Tenn. - Coming off of their 6-3 win over Barton College on Friday, the King University hosted Limestone College on Saturday afternoon. The Saints showed they came to play early, and took the duel match 9-0.

BRISTOL, Tenn. - In their first home duel match in three weeks, the King University men’s tennis team evened the Conference Carolinas record. The Tornado topped Barton College 6-3 to move to 3-3 in league play.
