Tornado swept by Limestone

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Coming off of their 6-3 win over Barton College on Friday, the King University hosted Limestone College on Saturday afternoon. The Saints showed they came to play early, and took the duel match 9-0.

Limestone (12-7, 5-1 CC) grabbed control of the match by taking all three of the doubles matches. For the Tornado (9-6, 3-4 CC), Leo Brigato and Patrick Jones dropped a narrow 8-6 decision at No. 2 doubles.

The Saints took all six singles matches in straight sets, with Daniel Lopez falling to Limestone's William Boyce 6-2, 7-5. Pablo Vidal and Rafael Francisco both fell 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2 and No. 5 singles, respectively.

The Tornado will be in action again on Monday when they travel to Pfeiffer University for a 2:00 p.m. start.
