Brabson earns NCCAA Mid-East All-Region nod
BRISTOL, Tenn. – King College's Kendall Brabson was named to the 2011 NCCAA Mid-East All-Region Softball squad.
Brabson, a junior from Bean Station, Tenn.,led the Lady Tornado with a .323 average. She ranked second on the squad with five doubles and had a home run. Brabson scored 14 runs and drove in 15 more. She led King with 12 multi-hit games and had a seven-game hitting streak earlier in the season. At first base she posted a .976 fielding percentage.
King wrapped up the season at 13-27 as Brabson was one of two players on the team to see action in every game.
In all six teams from the region had players on the team of 18 players.
