King Softball Opens Summer Camp Registration

BRISTOL, Tenn. – King College Softball will host a trio of summer camps for softball players ages eight and up this June. Camp registration is currently open and can be done online for all three sessions.

Lady Tornado softball players and coaches will lead participants in a three-day skills camp based on age and skill level. Campers will focus on basic and advanced fielding, pitching and hitting skills while also honing in on baserunning, catching and other individual talents.

The first of two sessions for ages 8-12 will be held June 13-15 with a second to be held the following week. A third camp will be held for those players ages 12 and up for an advanced skills session.

All camps will be held at the King College Softball Complex (Bristol, Tenn.) from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Registration for each camp will begin at 8:15 a.m. on the first day of each session. Players are encouraged to bring their own equipment, including tennis shoes and cleats for indoor and outdoor conditions.

Each camp session can be attended for only $60 if you sign up before May 15, 2012. Payment for all camps can be handled at registration on the first day of the camp.
