Defending Softball Champs to Host Two Camps this Fall

The defending Conference Carolinas Tournament Champion King Lady Tornado will host softball camps on Oct. 14 and from Nov. 3-4 to help improve those youths ages 10 and up.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The defending Conference Carolinas Softball Tournament Champion Lady Tornado softball team have announced they will host two camps this fall for youth players ages 10 and up. Led by the King coaching staff, the Lady Tornado will host camps on Oct. 14 and a second from Nov. 3-4.

The camp held on Oct. 14 is a one-day showcase designed for players in their ninth grade year or higher. Players participated will have the opportunity to display their skills to the King coaching staff, receive evaluation, and build upon those skills. Cost of the showcase is $75 per player.

On Nov. 3-4 the Lady Tornado invite all players ages 10  and older to engage in a series of drills to learn the fundamentals of hitting, defense, and throwing from the staff. The cost of the two-day camp is $100 per participants.

Participants will receive a King Softball t-shirt upon registration, while supplies last.

Both camps will be held at the King College Softball Complex, located on the King College campus (Bristol, Tenn.), begin at 1 p.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. Players are encouraged to bring their own equipment, including tennis shoes and cleats. No equipment will be provided.

All players signing up for either camp must complete a King College Athletics Camp Waiver (click here) and an individual release (click here) prior to participating. Please download and complete both forms, along with the registration form (click here) to be returned upon registration. Walk-up registrations are welcome.
