BRISTOL, Tenn. – With all the snow that has fallen on the east coast, the King University softball team has made some changes to their schedule. Both of King's doubleheaders scheduled for this weekend have been postponed as well as Tuesday's double-dip with Lincoln Memorial University.
The Tornado were slated to play UVa-Wise at home on Saturday, but due to snow, that doubleheader has been moved to Monday starting at 1:00 p.m., weather permitting. If the games are not able to be played on Monday, the teams will make up the contest on Tuesday.
Sunday's double-dip at Lenoir-Rhyne University has been moved as well, and is now scheduled for Thursday, April 3 starting at 4:00 p.m., in Hickory, N.C.
On Tuesday, the Tornado were scheduled to play at Lincoln Memorial, but that game has been moved to Wednesday starting at 1:00 p.m., in Harrogate, Tenn.
Earlier this week, King's season-opener with Carson-Newman University was rescheduled for March 12 starting at 2:00 p.m.
