Tornado split conference-opener at ErskineDUE WEST, S.C. – The King University softball team opened up Conference Carolinas play on Friday afternoon at Erskine College. The Tornado came back and took game one 5-2 behind four runs in the seventh inning before Erskine took game two 9-4 after scoring six runs in the opening frame.

The Trojans scored four runs in the first two innings and held on for the 6-3 victory.

Tornado hold off late NGU rally to stay alive in CC TournamentBURLINGTON, N.C. – Playing their second games of the Conference Carolinas Softball Tournament, seventh seed King University and fifth seed North Greenville University left everything on the field on Friday afternoon in an elimination game. Three members of the King University softball team, Hannah Smith, Lauren Smith and Amber Walker, were all recognized.
King contests at Bluefield State and Concord canceledBRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University softball doubleheader at Bluefield State College that was scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled. The doubleheader that was scheduled for the Tornado on Wednesday at Concord University has also been canceled. Neither twinbill will be rescheduled.
