    BRISTOL, Tenn. – Don’t quit until the last out is recorded, the King University softball team didn’t against seventh-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne University and the Tornado came away with a pair of walk-off wins. Katie McCann laced a two-run double in the seventh inning of game one, giving King the 2-1 win while Hannah Riddle drove in the game winning run in the eighth inning of game two.

    BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University softball team hosted Emmanuel College Saturday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas matchup. Each game of the doubleheader proved to be a pitchers dual as the Tornado fell in game one 1-0, but bounced back to take game two 2-0.

The Tornado took game one 6-4 before Kay Brokering hit a go-ahead home run in the sixth inning of game two, giving King the 7-5 victory.

    BRISTOL, Tenn. – Due to impending weather, the King University softball doubleheader against Barton College on Saturday has been moved to Monday, and the twinbill University of Mount Olive has been moved from Sunday to Friday. First pitch on Friday against Mount Olive is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. and first pitch on Monday is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

    GAFFNEY, S.C. – The King University softball team dropped a pair of tight contests at Limestone College on Friday afternoon. The Saints scored a pair of runs in the sixth inning to take game one from the Tornado 2-0 before taking the nightcap 4-1.

    BRISTOL, Tenn. – Kay Brokering had a big week for the King University softball team, leading the Tornado to a 4-2 record, including a 3-1 mark in Conference Carolinas play. On Tuesday she was selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Week after hitting .412 and driving in eight runs.

    TIGERVILLE, S.C. – Following a sweep to open Conference Carolinas play on Friday, the King University softball team came back to split with North Greenville University on Saturday. The Crusaders won game one 8-0, but King came back behind Leslie Odom to take the nightcap 5-0 for the split.

    BRISTOL, Tenn. – Saturday's schedule for the King University softball team has been altered. Instead of playing both Ohio Valley University and Mars Hill University, the Tornado will now play a doubleheader against Mars Hill. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Sundays' twinbill at Mars Hill has been postponed and rescheduled for April 22.

There has not been a reBRISTOL, Tenn. – King University has postponed their softball doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday with Milligan College. The doubleheader has been rescheduled for March 25 with first pitch at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday’s postponed doubleheader at Mars Hill University has been rescheduled for March 11 at 1:00 p.m.schedule date announced at this point.
