King v. Mars Hill Game Relocated to Stanford Arena
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The location of the King College / Mars Hill women's basketball game on Dec. 19 has been relocated to Stanford Arena (Mars Hill, N.C.). The game pitting the Tornado and the Lions was originally scheduled to be played in Bobcats Arena (Charlotte, N.C.), home of the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats, but needed to be relocated due to the fallout of the NBA lockout the location.


King (0-8) will try to earn its first win of the season against Mars Hill (4-4) on Dec. 19. The Lions broke a three-game skid with a win over King on Dec. 6, 68-50, at the Student Center Complex. In that game, freshman Tia Keitt (Dallas, Ga.) set a new career-high in points (13), going 5-for-8 from the floor in the loss.

The Tornado's game against Mars Hill will be the last non-conference game before they engage in Conference Carolinas play to end the regular season.
