Swallow named CC Women's Golf Player of the Month

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Following her best two finishes of the season, King University's Elizabeth Swallow was named Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Player of the Month, for the second part of March. Swallow placed second at both the Hilton Head Lakes Invitational and Pinehurst Challenge.

A native of Berkshire, England, Swallow finished second in her second consecutive tournament at the Pinehurst Challenge. She posted a 78 in the first round, and followed it with her best round of the season, 72, for a total of 150. The freshman finished only one stroke out of first place. Swallow also finished second in the Hilton Head Lakes Invitational after shooting 73-72 for a total of 145.

Swallow and the rest of the Tornado women's golf team will be in action on Monday at Tuesday at the Agnes McAmis Memorial Invitational hosted by Tusculum College.
