CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The King University women's golf team wrapped up their fall season by finishing sixth at the Lady Flames Shootout, hosted by Lee University. The Tornado shot 347 in the second round for a tournament total of 699. Elizabeth Swallow led the Tornado with a third place finish.
Swallow followed her first round of 80 with a second round of 78 to move up two places with a total of 158. In four tournaments this fall, Swallow finished in the top-10 in all four of them, posting top-5 finishes three times. Cortnee Young followed Swallow, finishing with a tournament score of 172 after carding an 88 in the second round.
Anna Walker shot 89 on day two to finish with a two-day total of 182. Kerby Jones and Karissa King rounded out the Tornado squad. Jones finished the tournament with a total of 187 after shooting 92 on day two while King carded a 94 in the second round to finish with a total of 191.
Lee University won the tournament with a total of 629 while University of North Georgia can in second at 654.
King will be in action again next spring.
