Robertson, Nataf finish in top 10 for King at Converse Spring Invite

ROEBUCK, S.C. – The King University women's golf team opened the spring season with an eighth place finish at the Converse Spring Invitational with a tournament total of 676. Nicola Robertson and Roxane Nataf led the Tornado with top 10 finishes.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Robertson followed her first round score of 80 with a two-over 73 to finish in fourth place with a stroke total of 153.
  • Nataf also improved her first round score of 81 with a 77 to finish ninth with a tournament total of 158.
  • Morgan Powers was consistent, shooting 88 in each round for a total of 176.
  • Rounding out the squad was Shelby Zeiter who followed a round of 97 with a 92 in the final round for a total of 189.

FOR THE FOES

  • Lee University won the tournament with a tournament total of 619.
  • Reme Cortez won the individual tournament with a total of one-over 145.
