BRISTOL, Tenn. – King Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving opened the 2012-13 season with a dual meet on the road at Lindsey Wilson College on Saturday. Reynold Thibideau led the men's team with three event victories while the women's team witness seven individual wins, two relay wins, and one school record fall. The men's team fell 130-87 while the women were defeated 127-112.
Furthering the women's successes were junior Kelsey Wiese (Gallatin, Tenn.) and freshman Rachel Fuller (North Augusta, S.C.), who combined for four wins between the pair. Wiese won the 50 free, 100 butterfly, and was a part of the first place 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay teams. Fuller won the 100 freestyle, 200 IM, and was a part of the first place 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams.
Malorie McBride rounded out the individual women's victories with a win in the 1,000 free.
The women featured two winning relay teams in the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays.
On the men's side, freshman Reynold Thibideau (Titusville, Fla.) led the team with three individual victories in the 100 back, 100 free, and 200 IM. Alek Nochowicz took first place in the place 200 backstroke.

The men's and women's team will next compete at Limestone College on Oct. 6. The trip is a part of the next Solid Blue Road Trip that is coupled with men's and women's soccer who also play Limestone. Tickets for the trip will be on sale this week in Maclellan Hall during lunch hours and the Tornado Alley Shoppe.
