BLUEFIELD, W.Va. - King College won a third straight 3-0 match Tuesday with a victory at Bluefield State (W.Va.) College.
The Lady Tornado improved to 22-7 while Bluefield State slipped to 1-23. This was the second meeting between the two this season. King won with a similar 3-0 score on Oct. 7 in Bristol.
King used set scores of 25-13, 25-12 and 26-24 for the victory.
The Lady Tornado also went to 14-1 in three-set matches this season. King has owned the opening three sets of matches this season, going 63-21 in the first three, including a 25-3 mark in the first set.
King returns to the court with a 6:30 p.m. match Friday at Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.) University. The Lady Tornado looks to even the score after a 3-1 setback against the Lady Railsplitters on Oct. 5 which snapped King's six-match winning streak.
