HIGH POINT, N.C. – King College women's volleyball player Ashley Pittman is one of ten Conference Carolinas student-athletes that have been selected as finalists for the Murphy Osborne Award. Finalists are nominated by their institutions based on academic, athletic, leadership, service, and community involvement excellence during the year. The award winner is given to the conference student-athlete determined to have the most outstanding accomplishments of the year.
The finalists for the highest academic award presented by the conference are as follows: Pier-Alexandre Desilets of Barton College, Steven Thiele of Belmont Abbey College, Rebecca Dillion of Coker College, Shannon Bishop of Converse College, Vincent Chauvette of Erskine College, Ashley Pittman of King College, Milissa Rydzik of Limestone College, Lyndsey McIntyre of Mount Olive College, Garrett Dranichak of Pfeiffer University, and Chantel Dodge of Queens University of Charlotte.
