Tornado earn academic honor from AVCA
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The 2013 season is about to start, but the King University women’s volleyball still earned recognition from the 2012-13 season. The Tornado were named one of the recipients of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for 2012-13. The AVCA Team Academic Award honors high school and collegiate teams that maintained at least a 3.30 grade-point average.
