BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the second consecutive week, King University's Summer Kremer has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week. This week, Kremer led the Tornado to a 4-0 record, posted an attack percentage of .345, and leading the team with 47 kills.
The junior continued her hot streak this week, hitting a blistering .345 in four Tornado victories. Kremer closed the week with back-to-back 16-kill performances at North Greenville University and against Clark Atlanta. She only made a combined three errors in the two matches on 71 attempts. In four matches last week, Kremer only made six errors on 119 attempts while posting 47 kills. The Mill River, N.C., native continues to lead Conference Carolinas in kills (189) and kills per set at 3.38.
The Tornado posted a 4-0 record last week, extending their winning streak to 12 matches. Their wins over Erskine College and North Greenville, the Tornado remain a perfect 4-0 in league play. King puts that record on the line tonight when they travel to Pfeiffer University. First serve from Misenheimer, N.C., is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
