Became the eighth NCAA All-American in King history with a sixth-place finish at the 2023 NCAA Division II national championships... Opened the tournament with an upset win over third-seeded Gabe Johnson of Central Oklahoma... He also had wins over Avery Shay of Shippensburg (tech fall) and Gage Bernall of Lander (10-5 decision).
