Won his first collegiate tournament at the King University Invitational, where he shot a second round 65, which is believed to be the lowest round in the NCAA Division II era for the Tornado. He started the tournament with a one-under 69, winning the event by two strokes. With the win, he became the second Tornado in three years to win the tournament. Norum also finished 21st at the season-opening Bearcat Fall Invitational, carding a one-under par 215, including a third round 67.
