A freshman from Ismir, Turkey, set a school record in the 200 yard individual medley at the Bulldog Invite, with a time of 1:15.16 to break the record previously held by head coach Juan Somoza. Ertuzun also came within one second of an NCAA 'B' cut time in the 400 yard IM, touching the wall in 4:00.80. He also had a pair of event wins in a dual victory over Converse.
