Meyer had a big weekend for the Tornado offense, leading King to a sweep of Chowan University. On the weekend, Meyer hit .571 with eight hits, including one double. He scored five runs and drove in five. In Friday’s doubleheader sweep, Meyer went 3-for-4 and drove in two in game one before going 2-for-3 as he drove in two more during the nightcap.
