Salmen joined the athletic training staff at King University in the summer of 2017. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in 2015, where she was also a member of the women’s ice hockey program. During her senior year, she served as team captain and was selected NCAA Division III first team All–American.
Salmen continued on to earn her Master of Science Degree in Human Performance from Lindenwood University in May 2017, where she served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer covering women’s basketball, softball, field hockey, cheerleading, and golf.
A native of Stillwater, Minn., Salmen enjoys outdoor activities such as golfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, skiing, and relaxing at the beach or lake in her free time.
