Softball splits with Newberry College 3-1 and 5-7!

King Softball defeats Newberry 3-1 in the opening game of today's doubleheader but falls 5-7 in the second matchup. Christina Melcher led King by hitting 4 of 6 on the day, while Hannah Light picked up her 5^th win of the season in game 1 by striking out 7 batters in 7 innings.
