BANNER ELK, N.C. – The King University men's tennis team blew past Lees-McRae College 9-0 in a Conference Carolinas match on Saturday afternoon in Banner Elk. King was able to post straight set victories in all but on match in the sweep. The Tornado eased through the match to post their fourth league victory to remain undefeated in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sparking the fire for the Tornado was Moritz Poswiat and Luis Delgado posting an 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles over Sebastian Zuhr and Thomas Deeley.
- Following up with another win at number two doubles was Lenny Keswani and Kyle Logue over Lees-McRae's Gabriel Muniz and Garrett Lakey, 8-5.
- At No. 3 doubles Jannis Walter sailed to an 8-0 victory over the Bobcats' Cole Douglas-Fields and Adam Chivers as the Tornado grabbed the early 3-0 advantage.
- Poswiat recorded a win for King at number one singles in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 over Munic.
- At number two singles Delgado also needed only two sets, as he tallied a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Lees-McRae's Zuhr.
- After dropping set one 3-6 Keswani battled back to post 6-4, 6-3 victories in the final two sets for the Tornado at number three singles over Lakey.
- Playing an eight game pro set, Walter tallied an 8-3 for King in the four spot over Douglas-Fields.
- Lindauer cruised to 6-1, 6-3 straight set victory at five singles over LMC's Deeley.
- Closing out the sweep for the Tornado was Logue with an 8-1 victory over the Bobcats' Chivers.
