Box Score GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The King University women's basketball fell to Tusculum College on the second night of their season. The Pioneers got off to a hot start and didn't look back, taking the contest 96-60.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pioneers used a 14-0 run to open up a 16-2 lead four minutes into the contest before Arnelle Collins made a layup.
- Che' Davis then converted a three-point play, cutting the Tornado deficit to 16-7.
- However, the Pioneers went on a 17-2 run and held a 35-13 lead after the first quarter.
- Tusculum closed the second quarter on a 10-2 run, opening up a 63-29 lead at the break.
- The Tusculum lead grew to 80-42 near the end of the third quarter and they held an 82-46 lead heading to the fourth quarter.
- King opened the final quarter with an 11-0 run, started by a Collins layup. Keyanna Blakely capped the spurt with a layup, cutting the Tornado deficit to 82-57.
- However, Tusculum closed out the game, taking the contest 96-60.
- Davis led the Tornado with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
- Collins followed with 16 points.
FOR THE FOES
- Lovely Locklear led Tusculum with 25 points and Yolizma Cupidan followed with 20 points.
- Maddie Sutton led the Pioneers with 10 rebounds.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The double-double for Davis was the first of her career as she set career-highs with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
