Delisle wins second straight Conference Carolinas Player of the Week award

BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the second straight week, Ben Delisle of the King University men's soccer team has been selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Week. Last week he posted another multi-goal game and accounted for three goals and an assist, leading King to a 2-0 week.

The Montreal, Quebec, Canada native started with two goals in a win at Southern Wesleyan University on Wednesday. That was his third multi-goal game of the season and fifth of his career.

Delisle followed that with a goal and an assist in King's 2-1 come-from-behind win over the University of Mount Olive. The junior first had an assist on the game-tying goal in the 55th minute before striking in the 75th minute to give King the 2-1 victory. The game-winning goal is Delisle's second of the season.

The Tornado will be in action again on Wednesday when they take on rival Lees-McRae College at 7:30 p.m. at Tennessee High School.
