Conference Carolinas Fall Messick Awards for Sportsmanship
BRISTOL, Tenn. – Two King University teams were honored by Conference Carolinas when they announced their Messick Awards for Sportsmanship. The women's cross country and men's soccer team both earned sportsmanship awards from the league.
The award for men's soccer is there second as the last time came in 2015. This marks the first sportsmanship award for women's cross country.
The Tornado women's cross country team won their four Conference Carolinas championship in program history and first since 2015. The men's soccer team finished 4-10-1 overall, going 3-6 in Conference Carolinas play. Each team had three individuals earn all-conference honors.
