Box Score BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's volleyball earned another Conference Carolinas win on Wednesday night in the Student Center Complex. The Tornado used a balanced attack to take the 3-0 victory over Lees-McRae College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set
- Back-to-back kills from Suetonius Harris and Joshua Kim got King off to a 6-2 lead and forced a Bobcat timeout.
- Lees-McRae came back to get within 13-10, but Julian Young started a 5-0 Tornado spurt with a kill.
- King then scored the last three points of the set, capped by a block from Chandler Christy and Young, giving King the 25-15 victory.
Second Set
- King gained separation in the second set with a 3-0 run where Kim had a pair of service aces that gave the Tornado a 7-4 lead.
- Sean Kohlhase capped a 7-2 with a pair of kills that gave the Tornado a 14-8 advantage.
- The Tornado then scored seven of the final nine points, the last on a block from Christy and Douglas Florencio that gave King the 25-14 victory.
Third Set
- The Tornado opened the fourth set with a 4-1 spurt, and followed that with another 4-1 run to take an 8-3 advantage following a Young ace.
- King opened up an 18-10 lead following an Aaron Milstead kill that ended a 5-0 Tornado run.
- Diego Marcano kill ended a 6-1 Lees-McRae run that pulled the Bobcats within 21-17.
- JT Deppe then ended the 25-19 and 3-0 victory for the Tornado with his lone kill of the match.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Kohlhase led King with seven kills and four blocks.
- The trio of Harris, Dalton Johnson and Marcano all followed with five kills.
- Harris posted six digs while Young added five blocks.
- Christy handed out 23 assists.
FOR THE FOES
- Drew Sims led Lees-McRae with nine kills while Nick Cookingham posted 25 assists and six digs.
- Chris Woolslayer posted eight digs.
