Box Score 3 AUGUSTA, Ga. – The King University women's volleyball team went 1-2 over the weekend at the Augusta University Jaguar Rumble. King topped Albany State University 3-1 on Friday afternoon before falling to Georgia College 3-1 and Augusta 3-0 on Saturday.
The Tornado topped Albany State 25-17, 25-18, 21-25, 25-23 on Friday afternoon. King then played a tight match with Georgia College on Saturday morning, falling 28-26, 24-26, 25-23, 25-22. In the afternoon, the Tornado fell to host Augusta 25-17, 25-20, 25-8.
King is now 2-4 on the season as they open Conference Carolinas play on Friday at Belmont Abbey College. First serve from Belmont, N.C. is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
