BRISTOL, Tenn. – Sean Kohlhase led the King University men's volleyball team to a pair of Conference Carolinas wins last week and was selected Conference Carolinas Co-Player of the Week. He shared honors with Aleksa Lakic of Emmanuel College.
Kohlhase led King to wins over Emmanuel College and Erskine College over the weekend. The Peoria, Ariz., native started with 15 kills, eight digs and two blocks in a 3-1 win over Emmanuel. On Saturday he hit .562 with 10 kills in the 3-0 win over Erskine. For the week he averaged 3.57 kills per set and hit .404 while averaging 1.29 digs per set.
This marks the first Conference Carolinas weekly award for Kohlhase in his career.
The Tornado return to the court on Tuesday at North Greenville University. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Tigerville, S.C.
