Conference Carolinas Release
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis season was cut short due to the national pandemic of COVID-19. Conference Carolinas announced their all-conference team, comprised of seniors from each member school as Tornado seniors Sebastian Lieflaender and Jorge Rojas were named to the team.
In three years on campus, Lieflaender, a native of Wegberg, Germany posted 21 doubles wins, including a 10-8 mark a season ago. This year he was 6-5 in doubles play, going 2-1 at the second flight. In his career, Lieflaender won 21 double matches and six singles matches.
Rojas, a native of Guayaquil, Guayas also spent three years on campus, winning 11 singles and nine doubles matches in that time. Last season was his most successful, winning seven singles matches and six doubles matches. This season, Rojas was 2-5 in both singles and doubles play.
