MILLLIGAN, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis earned their second win of the fall, defeating Milligan University 4-3. The Tornado dropped the doubles point, but came back with wins at the top foru singles flights to earn the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Pedro Laydner and Rhys Halcrow defeated Carter Rigsby and Marcos Moreno 7-5 at No. 2 doubles for the Tornado.
- Milligan countered with a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles while the top flight went to a tiebreaker.
- At the top flight, Alex Sodre and Mat Vieira came up short against Derian Janeke and Nathan Smiley as the Milligan duo took the match 7-6 (7-4) to win the doubles point.
- Sodre got the Tornado off to a hot start in singles play with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Moreno at the top flight.
- Milligan won the No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches while the No. 2, 3 and 4 matches went to three sets.
- King came out on top on al three occasions, starting with a 6-0, 3-6, 6-3 win for Halcrow over Smiley at No. 2 singles.
- Laydner followed with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 win over Janeke at the third flight before Vieira clinched the win.
- At No. 4 singles, Vieiracame back after dropping the first set 6-3 to Carter Rigsby. Vieira won the final two sets 6-3, 7-5, giving the Tornado the win.
