BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Tornado wrapped up their 2021 season Sunday afternoon, falling to conference foe Chowan 3-0 at Parks Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It didn't take much time for the Hawks to strike, as they scored in the ninth minute off a shot from Carolina Lucci to take the early 1-0 lead.
- Chowan got another shot four minutes later, which was saved by Kristal Garcia.
- The score was 1-0 at halftime after King survived an onslaught of shots in the closing minutes, including a shot on goal by Sierra Gonzalez that was again steered away by Garcia.
- Chowan started the second half just like they left off the first half, taking a shot on goal in the 58th minute and the 61st minute, both of which were stopped by Erin Foster.
- After a King corner kick that resulted in a shot by Maya Houston, Chowan added a second goal in the 77th minute when Lucci converted another opportunity.
- The Hawks added a third goal in the 89th minute, with Sabrina Henderson finding the back of the net to put the finishing touches on the match.
