VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The King University men's track & field team finished eighth at the Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships. The Tornado were led by all-conference finishes from
Kolin Miller and
Reed Samuel.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Samuel finished runner-up in the long jump with a leap of 6.92 meters.
- He also finished eighth in the triple jump with a mark of 12.82 meters.
- In the weight throw, Miller took third with a mark of 16.09 meters.
- He also took fifth in the shot put with a mark of 13.28 meters.
- Clathton Henfield narrowly missed the podium in the 400 meter dash, finishing fourth with a time of 51.36 seconds.
FOR THE FOES
- The University of Mount Olive won the team title with Emmanuel College finished second.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Samuel earns second team all-conference honors in the long jump and Miller garners third team honors in the weight throw.
UP NEXT
- King is scheduled to open the outdoor season on March 6 at the Susan Rouse Invitational at Southern Wesleyan University.
