BRISTOL, Tenn. – Beginning with the men's volleyball match on Saturday against Belmont Abbey College on Saturday, February 27, in addition to a limited number of students, faculty and staff, King University will allow parents of King student-athletes to attend indoor and outdoor home events.
Policies and procedures for indoor and outdoor events will vary, details have been emailed to student-athletes and parents. Parents, please check your email or check with your student-athlete.
The general public, including visiting parents and fans, are still not permitted to attend at this time.
"I'm excited to allow our parents the opportunity to come and support their sons and daughters," director of athletics
David Hicks said.
King will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation locally and on campus, and as the situation allows, hopes to expand attendance opportunities to others some point in the season.
All Tornado home games will be streamed on the
Tornado Sports Network as part of the Conference Carolinas Digital Network.
