MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The King University men's tennis team won their first Conference Carolinas match of the season on Sunday, defeating Chowan University 5-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The No. 2 Tornado doubles team of Ross Edgar and Nathan Snow got the Tornado off to a good start with a 6-1 win over Alvaro J Camps and Corbin Robertson.
- At the second flight, Alex Sodre and Andre Schiabel earned a 6-4 win over Santino Jose Sormani and Michael Correa.
- In singles play, Kyle Robinson started the Tornado run with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Job Williamson at the fifth flight.
- Snow followed with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Robertson at No. 4 singles before Schiabel defeated Correa 6-1, 6-2 over Correa at the second flight.
- Edgar capped the 5-1 King win with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Campos at No. 3 singles.
