BRISTOL, Tenn. –
JT Deppe had a big match in the regular season finale for the King University men's volleyball team as he was selected Conference Carolinas Specialist of the Week.
He handed out 42 assists in King's 3-0 win over Lees-McRae College. That marked second most assists in a three-set match in school history. In Thursday's Conference Carolinas first round match, Deppe broke that mark, and the school record when he handed out 46 assists in a sweep of the Bobcats. In Tuesday night's regular season finale, Deppe added 13 digs in the match for his fourth double-double of the season.
The Tornado are in action again on Tuesday night at Barton College in a Conference Carolinas quarterfinal match. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
