Kolin Miller had a solid finish to the regular season for the King University Men's Track & Field team as his personal record in the hammer throw led to him being selected Conference Carolinas Men's Field Athlete of the Week.
At the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic, Miller finished fourth in the hammer throw with a personal record mark of 51.78 meters. He also finished seventh in the shot put with a mark of 12.62 meters and ninth in the discus with a toss of 41.27 meters.
This marks the first Conference Carolinas Weekly award for Miller in his career.
The Tornado are in action again at the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday at Saturday at the University of Mount Olive in Mount Olive, N.C.
