MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The King University men's track & field team competed in the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday and Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Clathton Henfield finished seventh in the 400 meter finals, recording a time of 50.81 seconds. He posted a personal best of 50.38 seconds during his preliminary race.
- In the 1500 meter race, Jordan Keith placed eighth with a time of 4:13.14 while Blaine Metcalf's 4:17.82 was good enough for ninth place. Metcalf ran a 4:13.09 during the preliminaries, a personal best.
- Joel Parker took 12th in the 5000 meter race, posting a personal record time of 16:20.08.
- Josh Booher placed fifth in the 10000 meter with a time of 33:06.78.
- Metcalf earned a podium finish in the 3000 meter steeplechase by taking third place with a time of 9:56.60. Jake Allison placed seventh in the same event as he posted a personal record of 10:45.87.
- Kolin Miller picked up a pair of podium finishes, taking second in the hammer throw with a distance of 53.10 meters and placing third in shot put with a distance of 13.59 meters. He also placed seventh in the discus throw with a distance of 42.33 meters.
