BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University had two student-athletes earn Conference Carolinas Elite 23 awards this spring.
Mason McCrury earned the award for men's volleyball and
Katy Neubert took the award for women's outdoor track & field.
McCrury earns the Elite 23 award for the second straight year while Neubert takes home her first Elite 23 award. The duo joins Gwen Haag, who won the award for women's swimming earlier this spring, as Tornado to win the award during the 2020-21 season.
Both McCrury and Neubert carry grade point averages of 4.0.
The Conference Carolinas Elite 23 honors student-athletes with the highest cumulative GPA at their respective championship site. The award is modeled after the NCAA's Elite 90 Award, allowing all student-athletes at the championship site to win the award.
