BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University men's wrestling head coach
Deral Brown has announced his 2021-22 schedule. The Tornado open the campaign at home on November 10 before hosting the Tornado Open later in the month. The Tornado will also compete at the NWCA National Duals for the first time in a decade in January.
The season-opener is also the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas (SACC) opener as the Tornado take on Emmanuel College at home on November 10. King then hosts perennial national power and defending conference champion Newberry College on November 20 before hosting the Tornado Open on November 21.
King will travel to the Midwest Classic on December 18-19 before competing at the NWCA National Duals on January 6-7 for the first time since January of 2012. The Tornado close the regular season with home duals against Queens University and Bluefield State College on February 9.
The NCAA Division II Super Region II Championships are scheduled for February 26 at UNC Pembroke in Pembroke, N.C., and the NCAA Division II Wrestling National Championships will take place on March 11-12 in St. Louis, Mo.
