HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The King University men's wrestling team came up with South Atlantic Conference Carolinas (SACC) win at Coker University on Monday night.
Elijah Hicks and
Demetri Teddlie highlighted the 25-12 victory for the Tornado.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The dual started at 165 pounds with the Cobras taking a 3-0 lead in the dual.
- However, King came back with three straight wins as Dallin Ewart earned an 8-4 decision over Alex Miller at 174 pounds.
- Freddie Garcia followed with a 5-4 decision over William Frazier at 184 pounds.
- Samar Suddeth then gave the Tornado a 9-3 lead with a sudden victory over Levi Kluttz, 3-0.
- Coker took a pin at 285 and decision at 125 to take a 12-9 lead.
- However, Elijah Hicks came back with a 17-9 major decision over Brandon Dasen at 133 pounds, vaulting the Tornado to a 13-12 advantage.
- King closed out the 25-12 victory with three straight wins, started by a 6-4 victory for sixth-ranked Christian Small over Omar Armengol at 141 pounds.
- At 149 pounds, Demetri Teddlie pinned Josh Twilley in 3:35 before Dallas Boone earned a 5-1 decision over P.J. Wudnerlich at 157 pounds.
