HICKORY, N.C. -- Making their outdoor debut, the King University track and field teams posted solid performances at the Southside Power & Fitness Invitational, setting six personal records on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED – MEN
- Kolin Miller won the hammer throw, with a mark of 52.10 meters.Â
- In the long jump, Clathon Henfield won with a personal record of 6.73 meters.
- Henfield also set a personal record in the 200 meter dash, finishing fifth with a time of 22.47 seconds.
- Skyler Miller also posted a personal record time, finishing in 24.17 seconds.
HOW IT HAPPENED – WOMEN
- Ruthie Fripp won the hammer throw with a mark of 42.35 meters. Katie Biggs finished fourth at 35.58 meters while Annah Blankenship marked 27.72 meters.
- Fripp placed third in the discus throw, marking 33.18 meters to finish ahead of Biggs (29.18 meters) and Blankenship (26.77 meters).
- In the javelin throw, Blankenship marked 22.30 meters to finish fourth.
- Larynn Clopton placed third in the long jump with a distance of 5.01 meters.
- Callie Kuchinski posted a personal record in the 200 meter dash, finishing in 28.85 seconds to finish 10th.
- In the 100 meter dash, Christina Passamonte finished in 12.97 seconds, a new personal record that was good for seventh.
