BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis team earned a convincing win over Chowan Friday afternoon, beating the Hawks 6-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- King swept doubles play, with matching 6-3 wins and a 6-4 win by Miodrag Popovic and Kyle Robinson to claim the point.
- The Tornado would win five of the singles matches, including a 7-6 (7-4), 7-5 win for Alex Sodre at no. 1 singles.
- In the second singles flight, Rhys Halcrow won 6-2, 6-1.
- Andre Schiabel had a battle at no. 3 singles, winning 6-4, 7-5.
- Popovic would improve to 2-0 on the day with a 6-1, 6-2 win at the fourth singles flight.
- Mat Vieira also had a tight match, winning at no. 5 singles 7-5, 6-4.
- Chowan would claim a point at no. 6 singles.
