BRISTOL, Tenn. – Following the Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Championship, the league announced their all-conference honorees.
Kornbongkoat Sararat earned first team honors and
Sasha Gardiner was named to the second team.
Sararat led the Tornado with a 77.59 stroke average this year with two rounds of par or lower. She posted five top 10 finishes in eight tournaments, including two finishes inside the top five. She won the season-opening Battle for Royalty shooting even par 72. The senior followed that with a fourth place finish at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational with a score of even par 144, shooting 71 and 73. Her final top 10 came at the Music City Invitational with a score of 151 to take 10th. At the Conference Carolinas Championship, she finished 11th with a three-round total of 241.
Gardiner earns all-conference honors for the first time in her career after finishing 16th at the Conference Carolinas Championship with a three-round total of 244. She was second on the team with a stroke average of 79.26 and posted three top 10 finishes in nine events. Twice she was inside the top 10, including a first place finish at the Agnes McAmis Memorial after shooting two-over 146. She finished sixth at the season-opening Battle for Royalty and finished runner-up at the King Invitational.
