BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's wrestling team won four matches Wednesday night, but were unable to overcome the University of Mount Olive, falling 23-17.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After Mount Olive won an overtime decision at 125 pounds, Franky Medina claimed a forfeit win, putting the Tornado in front 6-3.
- The Trojans then won two matches by decision, taking a 9-6 lead after the 149-pound match.
- After trailing 3-2 entering the third period, Brennan Watkins started in the top position and proceeded to ride out his opponent for the entire period, earning enough riding time to tie the match at 3 before a late stall call gave him the 4-3 win.
- Mount Olive would win both of the next two matches, taking the 165 pound match via tech fall before winning at 174 pounds via pin to extend the lead to 20-9.
- At 184 pounds, Clint Morrisette won a 10-2 major decision, scoring five points in the third period to make the score 20-13 in favor of the Trojans.
- JJ Pociask came up with a major decision win at 197 pounds, taking a 14-0 win to cut the lead to 20-17.
- The Trojans would win at 285 pounds by decision, hanging on for a 23-17 win.
